Alicia Harrington, DPT, is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy who has spent the past decade helping female athletes bridge the gap between rehab and competition when recovering from ACL injuries.
As a former professional cheerleader and current high school varsity head coach, Alicia understands firsthand the physical and mental demands of sports. Her unique perspective—blending both the rehab and performance sides of recovery—allows her to address the specific challenges athletes face in their return to play.
After years of working with elite athletes, ACL specialists, and orthopedic surgeons, she saw a critical gap in traditional physical therapy: athletes were being cleared for sport without truly being ready. This led her to develop a comprehensive, sport-specific rehab approach designed to fully prepare athletes for competition.
